Meyer won his first senior title in the points race at the 2009 World Championships in Poland (he took this title again in 2010 alongwith the Madison and the Team Pursuit). In 2009 he had been selected to ride the Giro d'Italia. He won the time-trial event at the 2010 Australian National Road Race Championships. A talented young man, he already has an impressive palmares and shows a hell of a lot of potential for the future. Definately one to watch.
