Pearl Izumi Pro In-R-Cool Cycling Bib Shorts Black
Like riding on a pillow!
Previous Pearl Izumi campaigns have highlighted the importance of keeping those hind quarters in good shape as you rack up the miles doing what you love. The P.R.O. shorts and bibs have delivered every time, and have proven invaluable in achieving this goal. In their quest to always give you the best and never sit back on their own laurels at Pearl Izumi, they have actually improved these great bib shorts. These were already a staff favorite - the further upgrade on fabric technology keeps them right up there in our shortlist of go-to bib shorts for all riding needs. These are sure to help you save your legs, and work in comfort, for longer. You can ride furiously but still be cool!
P.R.O. In-R-Cool Bib Short features:
P.R.O. Transfer with In-R-Cool fabric technology for your cool, dry comfort. The dyeing process used to bring you this coldblack technology makes the fabric reflect UV light (and thereby heat) just as well as a white fabric would. It also provides UPF50+ sun protection.
P.R.O Transfer with Minerale Direct-Vent bib. Super wicking, super odor absorption and super-fast drying - this fabric will help you stay cool and dry in the torso area. The Minerale technology utilizes Volcanic ash that is combined with lycra when it is formed - just how cool is that!
Pearl Izumi's top of the line seatpad, the P.R.O. Seamless 4D Chamois is now lighter and thinner but with just as much comfort and cushioning. Pressure relief Technology will also assist in the maintenance of blood flow. Pre-shaped and curved to fit and move with the rider with a 4-way stretch covering that will wick away moisture. Active carbon yarns will provide cooling and ward off static-induce fatigue.
Cut to an anatomical, multi-panel design to really dial in that fit and how the garment moves with your body in the full cycling range of motion
Silicone leg grippers with welded construction will keep things nicely in place
Reflective detailing will provide useful low-light visibility

Exceptional qualityBy Corey from Grand Forks, North Dakota on July 9, 2012 These are hands down the best riding shorts / bibs I have used. I'm a casual commuter who goes on 3-4 long distance rides each week. These shorts provide the perfect padding to prevent saddle sores or irritation.
My only complaint is the color of the bib. Black will show through my white riding jerseys, but otherwise they are an amazing product that has become my primary riding short.Pros:Great chamois and padding
No pressure points or irritation with bib
Performs well on warm and hot daysCons:Black bib can be seen through some white jerseysI would recommend this item to a friend.Cushy Pad!By Dorian from Bakersfield, CA on July 4, 2012 There are several great things about the Pearl izumi PRO bibs. First, they wick sweat away faster than I make it. I also, love the big cushy pad in these! I like the longer length of the Pearl Izumi bibs as I am quite tall. Cold black really does work too. Check out the enclosed video on these. Pros:Cushy pad, Cold black, transfer fabric wicks sweat! Cons:Little priceyI would recommend this item to a friend.Ist pair of bib shortsBy Paul B. from Portland, OR on February 6, 2012 I'd been wearing PRO shorts for a couple of years and decided to try out a bibs. What a difference! Same excellent pad with a more comfortable fit! Now to buy some more!Pros:FIt & comfortCons:None reallyI would recommend this item to a friend.GREAT BIBS!!!By Jeff from St Augustine, FL on July 29, 2011 These things are very form fitting, a little snug but no complaints. Fabric is awesome and leg grippers stay put, they hug your leg like they are supposed too. Two thumbs up!!!Pros:Fits like a gloveCons:noneI would recommend this item to a friend.Top notch bibsBy KJ from Portland, OR on July 5, 2011 I'll always reach for one of a few pairs of shorts in my drawer, when I am going out for a decent ride. The PRO is one of them - they never let me down. Love the upgrade and new fabric for this year. Built to last as well - so I know that I'll get many many good rides out of them.Pros:Fit, comfort, fabric, pad & durabilityI would recommend this item to a friend.Great ShortsBy Friedrich from St. Paul, MN on April 6, 2011 Great shorts that everyone should wear for life !I would recommend this item to a friend.very nice shortsBy bamabackroads from Alabama on April 6, 2011 hese are very good shorts, my first pair of bibs. I am fairly new to road cycling and was searching for a really comfortable pair of shorts. I read that bibs deliver and decided to try a pair. I had the notch below this in the Elite Pearl shorts, so I went for this next step. I noticed a substantial difference in the comfort of the pad and the bibs definitely stay in place better. I haven't done a really long ride in them yet, but a couple of 35 milers give me positive vibes.Pros:comfort and maybe the cool factorCons:none so farI would recommend this item to a friend. | |
