The very latest SG0.6 mesh fabric, despite using the lightest fabric fibers in existence, is strong enough to support those rear pockets fully loaded so that you can stock up comfortably for the road ahead.
The hollow-core polypropylene fibers, that make up the fabric, pretty much shed moisture - they will not absorb it. The end result is that you remain dry and cool, and the jersey retains only its lightness.
