The word Risvolto in Italian refers to the flap, or turn-up cuff, that provides a bit of extra warmth and protection for the ears when down, but can be folded up when not needed to make this look like a more conventional cap. Back in the day some of us used to turn up the peak as well - if you want the full retro bike-geek look ! This was pretty much the Winter version of the cotton racing cap that we would all use at one time. Castelli gives us their latest version with up-to-date fabrics and design, whilst retaining some of that classic styling - something Castelli has knack for we think. This should pair up nicely with most of your cycling wardrobe and we are sure will be a popular piece off the bike too. Castelli's Warmer fabric will provide warmth and moisture-wicking. The headband has a polypropylene liner to help improve wicking even further in this area.
