The pocket liner will do just as the name suggests - it will easily stow in your jersey pocket when not required and weighing a mere 170 grams, you would hardly know it was there. What is different about this stowable and lightweight raincape is the fully waterproof construction and detailed design that makes this possibly the most advanced rain cycling jacket of it's kind ...ever! Lightweight eVent fabric is used to provide total waterprooficity with the best breathability rating available. Millions of tiny pores in this fabric will allow your perspiration to escape, but this is one way traffic. Rain is kept out and the rider nice and dry in the process. The construction of the jacket uses plissé stretch zones to really dial in the fit, eliminate excess fabric and keep you aero. The eVent fabric itself does not have elasticity, but the plissé panels provide an accordian-like effect and allow the stretch necessary to give you a close, race fit.
The front zipper has a velcro attachable flap that provides completely waterproof cover, whilst being easy to close. A storm-flap construction at the back will seal around the waist and protect the rear from wheel spray. There are welded zippered vents at the sides for additional cooling and venting if required.
