How low can you go?

To date - this is the lightest cycling windvest that Castelli has made. Weighing in at a featherweight 69 grams for a size large, you will hardly know you are wearing it at all. If you should find yourself not needing it during a portion of your ride, you would hardly know it was there in your jersey pocket. Don't let this make you think that it might in any way come up short on the protection it will offer you against wind and rainshowers. Castelli's Forcefield fabric will live up to it's name and provide an effective shield for your chest and core as you ride into that headwind or down that fast descent. The fabric is breathable and the rear of the vest is constructed in mesh to provide ventilation and avoid overheating. For your further comfort the collar is also lined in mesh. Two rear reflective tabs will add some low-light visibility.
