The Italian King of the Mountains - the 'Gran Premio delle Montagne' certainly helped give the GPM jersey it's name, and we think that it will inspire it's wearer just as much. This particular Castelli GPM jersey is closer in color to the ' Maglia Rosso Passione' which in 2010 replaced the mauve jersey worn by the leader in the points classification.Castelli combines lightweight Prosecco treated Stratus fabric with the innovative comfort of seamless arm and neck bands. Initially developed for their seamless base layers, this ingenious new feature has carried over to jersey production remarkably well. The Stratus fabric keeps you cool and dry with it's dual layers, with the inner one pulling perspiration away from the body to the outer layer where it evaporates. Prosecco is a hydrophylic treatment that causes moisture to spread out over a larger surface area, thereby speeding up the evaporation process even further. Due to the dual layered characteristics of this Stratus fabric the jersey will do the job of wearing a baselayer, effectively having it's own built in. It also has a super-soft next-to-skin feel, making it totally comfortable to wear on it's own.
