All the way down below the knee in fact, in this super, keenly priced Castelli knicker. Upgraded for 2011, similar to the Ergo Tre shorts and bibs, to give you even greater value and performance. The Ergo Tre line uses hi-tech materials, a race-proven seatpad, high quality construction and the added flair that of course we would expect from what is a brand leader in cycling apparel. As much love and care goes into into these entry level priced garments as does into all of Castelli's product. With the ProTour race-proven Kiss 3 seatpad and the kind on your pocket price, we have to say that this scorpion has no sting in its tail. Well of course not - it has a Kiss, but you know what we mean!
Ergo Tre knicker features:
The Ergo uses Affinity 210 Lycra - a silky smooth feeling fabric, that provides muscle support and compression.
8-panel anatomic construction, with double-needle cover stitching, provides a perfect level of comfort, fit and durability.
Castelli's latest KISS 3 chamois, engineered without any of the seams that can cause abrasion and chaffing. The top layer of the seatpad provides a comfortable and soft interface with the skin. Most riders will not need chamois creme with the Kiss 3 pad. High density foam provides just the right amount of cushioning in key areas, whilst less is used around the edges of the pad, minimising unwanted bulk in these areas.
Classic silicone gel grippers at the leg hold things nicely in place.
The Castelli name is embossed on the side panel adding a touch of unmistakeable flair.
