When writing about cycling clothing it's often tough to convey the feel of the product. Castelli's Body Paint Bibshorts are so unobtrusive to your body that they feel as if you're wearing nothing at all. A single piece of Power Stretch Lycra eliminates seams and covers your body as if it was painted on.

Made of Giro++ elastic fabric, the shoulder straps fit differently to those on other bibs. Castelli has removed as much material as possible from the front of the stomach and upper torso area, so that instead of rising vertically from the waist to the middle of the shoulder, the straps curve from the outside of the hips and around your chest to leave more of the chest uncovered. Made of white fabric, the straps are light and cool on warmer days.

Tested by the Cervélo Test Team the Progetto X2 seat pad will already have more than 500,000 kilometers of testing before it reaches the market during. Made with 10 separate components, and 12 different phases in the manufacturing process, the X2 Progetto has been in development for nearly 3 years.
